About Me

Zoe Poindexter is an Associate Producer at Long Story Short Media, a production company based in Washington, DC, where she assists producers in the pre, field, post and live production of video content and events for clients.

 

In 2023, Zoe completed a Google Project Management certification with Coursera. In May 2019, she graduated with a Masters in journalism from Georgetown University enhancing the Bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism she received from West Liberty University in 2016.

Zoe has assisted most recently in the production of video content for the Clinton Global Initiative (2023,2022), the Robin Hood Foundation Big Benefit (2022, 2023), CBS pool coverage of the 2020 Presidential Inauguration, the 2020 Republican National Convention in Washington, D.C. and editorial and logistics planning for the CBS News 2020 Democratic Debate in Charleston, S.C.

 

Zoe is passionate about arts, culture and entertainment, true crime, social justice, festivals, interactive experiences and travel.

January 2022 - Present

Associate Producer| Long Story Short Media

Assists executive and senior producers with developing creative concepts, and maintaining client correspondence during pre-production. Leads and delegates research and asset-gathering needs.
Assists line producer by managing production deadlines and task completion with Monday.com (experience on the vendor side with Asana and Airtable production management tools).
Coordinates travel, site, expenses, and production logistics for field and remote production. 
Collaborates with producers, editors, and artists to identify, implement and approve video and photo assets, motion graphics, and VFX for short-form, scripted, non-fiction videos.
