About Me
Zoe Poindexter is a Producer at Long Story Short Media, a production company based in Washington, DC, and a journalism Capstone Advisor at Georgetown University.
In 2023, Zoe completed a Google Project Management certification with Coursera. In May 2019, she graduated with a Masters in journalism from Georgetown University enhancing the Bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism she received from West Liberty University in 2016.
Zoe has most recently served as a talent liaison for iHeart Radio's Jingle Ball in D.C. (2024, 2023), as an event producer for the National Music Publishers Association's Gold & Platinum Gala (2024, 2023) and their Songwriters Showcase (2024), and as a production coordinator, field and post producer for Ford Motor Co.'s unveiling and concert at the Michigan Central Station in Detroit (2024).
She has also assisted in producing video content for the Clinton Global Initiative (2024, 2023,2022), and the Robin Hood Foundation Big Benefit (2023, 2022).
Prior to her time at LSS, Zoe proudly assisted with CBS pool coverage of the 2020 Presidential Inauguration, the 2020 Republican National Convention in Washington, D.C., and editorial and logistics planning for the CBS News 2020 Democratic Debate in Charleston, S.C.
Zoe is passionate about pop culture, the arts, all forms of entertainment like reading and watching movies (especially horror), social justice, festivals, immersive experiences and travel.
